My research project and Master’s Thesis at TU Darmstadt have focused on the “airport cities” concept. I am passionate about aviation and interested to see how an airport acts as a city-forming enterprise and influences urban development. This research path the way for me to start working in Germany as an Airport Planner.
Here are some projects from my 3-year work experience as an Airport Planner.

2018 – 2021
For the International Airport Khabarovsk WPIARC Plan GmbH delivered several projects. I participated in the following:
- Concept of reconstruction of the existing terminal
- New International terminal: consulting, the interior of commercial areas proposal

- Landside development concept

International Airport Sheremetyevo (SVO) is one of the busiest airports in Russia with an large infrastructure. There I was involved in consulting on passenger circulation, functional organization, and signage system.
Another conceptual project was a new terminal for the low-cost airlines.

As part of the research on sustainable technologies and programs that are implemented in world airports, I was working on the concept of an ecologically friendly passenger terminal.
It is a small-scale one level passenger facility with double facades, an energy-efficient cooling system, sound barriers, and greening.
The research outcomes were published in the article here.
